A Number of Common Sense Tricks for the Casinos

As an avid player, I have been taught a couple of valuable lessons while betting over the decades. It does not matter if you prefer to wagering at the ‘bricks and mortar’ type or the numerous internet casinos. Below are my golden rules of gambling, many of which may be considered common sense, but if followed they will help you go a long way to leaving with a smile on your face.

Rule 1: Go into a casino with a determined sum that you are ready and can manage to spend – How much would you spend for an evening out on diner, alcoholic beverages, entrance fees and tips? This is a good value to utilize.

Rule 2: Don’t carry your debit card with you – or any means of drawing cash out. Do not be concerned about cash for the taxi if you spend all your cash; most taxi drivers, especially the cabs booked by casinos, will drive you to your home and are more than happy to wait for the cash when you get home.

Rule three: Stick to your predetermined limit. I constantly think of what I’d love to buy should I earn. The previous time I went, I determined I would quite like to purchase a new digital SLR camera which cost about $400, so that was my upper limit. As soon as I surpassed this sum, I stopped. Just walk away. Even if Mystic Megan herself approaches with you the upcoming number for the roulette wheel, pay no attention to her and quit. Leave safe in the knowledge that you will be proceeding into the city and acquiring a nice new toy!

Rule four: Have fun. When you’re "buzzing" you usually will profit. It is a fact. I do not understand how, but it clearly is. Once it turns into a chore, or you are simply playing to acquire a profit you have lost, you will fritter away more. When you are winning, experiencing an excellent experience with your friends, or your boyfriend, you will earn more and more.
